It’s never too late to be what you might have been

People are often a culmination of diverse experiences: some beautiful and amazing, some confusing or traumatic. For this reason I see therapy as a collaborative space to explore the origins of people’s limiting (or self-sabotaging) behaviors where we will work to create and incorporate new solutions to present stressors and lifelong dilemmas. I use a holistic approach to help people develop deeply authentic and fulfilling lives by lessening their critical inner voice (driven by fear and shame) and integrating a new inner voice of self-compassion and self-acceptance. Our work together will be informed with aspects of existential psychology, attachment theory, internal family systems and mindfulness with the goals of 1) increasing emotional flexibility, 2) an integration of the body and the mind and 3) the ability to engage fully in all relationships and endeavors.

I have an extensive background helping individuals and couples navigate the intimacy of relationships and sexuality, as well as helping many individuals and their families recover from depression, anxiety and addictive/ compulsive behaviors. I also coach C-suite executives across the world on how to lead their teams and companies towards excellence with compassion and inclusivity.

I earned my masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University. I completed my undergraduate degree with Phi Beta Kappa honors at Florida International University (and also received a culinary degree while living in Paris). I am a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California, #109431.
